Mrs. Martha J. Lucas Is Buried At Local Cemetery May 2nd

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Lucas, wife of W. M. Lucas of Atlanta,
were held at the Winnfield cemetery Thursday, May 2.  Dr. B. C. Land, pastor
of the Baptist Church, conducted the last rites at the grave.

Mrs. Lucas was 85 years of age.  Her death occurred at the home of her nephew,
(grandson in law) F. B. (Thomas B.) Plunkett, on May 1.
