Last Rites Held For Mrs. W. Luther Apr. 27 At Corinth


Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Luther, 48, who died in a Jonesboro hospital
Thursday night, after a number of years illness, were held Saturday at 2
p.m. at the South Winnfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Green 
officiating.  Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.  

A native of Winnfield, Mrs. Luther was a member of the South Winnfield Baptist
Church.

Surviving are her husband, Wesley Luther, three sons, A. D. Luther, T. L.
Luther, and Wesley Edward Luther, four daughters, Mrs. Doris Wilson, Mrs.
Lavell Newell, Mrs. Willa Dee Dow, and Margie Sue Luther, all of Winnfield.

She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Mary Leeper and Mrs. Audie Bell Shows of
New Orleans; Mrs. Davie Riley of Mississippi, Mrs. Beatrice Lang, Atlanta,
two brothers, E. J. Cannon and Haywood Cannon, of New Orleans.
