Mrs. Luther, 90, Succumbs; Rites Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Fanny Tilton Luther, 90, of Winnfield, were at 3
p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Methodist Church near Montgomery with Eugene Love
officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Haley.

Burial was at the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home here.

Mrs. Luther died Sunday, December 17, 1972 in a local hospital after a long
illness.

Survivors include three sons, O. C. Luther of Monroe, Charles Luther of
Winnfield, and Herbert Luther of Shreveport, nine grandchildren, 16 great
grandchildren, and a number of great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Preston Wallace, Bill McLaren, Johnny Stroud, Virgil
Luther, Aaron McManus, and Donnie Shaw.
