Mrs. A. Luther Buried At Couley Cemetery Monday

Mrs. Arthur Luther, 45, died at a local hospital Sunday, March 6, after
several years illness with leukemia.

Funeral services were conducted March 7 at 3 p.m. at the Couley Double Church
with Mrs. Lula Wardlow officiating.  Assisting were Rev. C. M. Robinson, Rev.
Grant, and Rev. Fred Flurry.  Interment was in the Couley Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ezra Luther, R. L. Luther, Wayne Luther, J. H. Mitchell,
Bluch Haddox, and Marlin Collins, all nephews of the deceased.

Mrs. Luther was a member of the Couley Methodist Church.  Surviving are her
husband of Couley; three sons, A. G. of Port Neches, Tex., James and Charles
of Winnfield; five daughters, Mrs. Melba Roberts, Winnfield; Mrs. Elba
Shephard, Coushatta; Dora Lee, Patsy, and Doris, Winnfield; her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. John Morgan, Oak Grove; brothers Murl and Robert Morgan, Houston,
Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Sibyl Strong, Oak Grove; Mrs. Lucy Brewton,
Goldonna; and Mrs. Jesse Mitchell, Houston.
