Last Rites For Mr. Luther To Be Held Thursday

Funeral services for Wesley Jonathan Luther, 76, native of Grant Parish, and a
resident of East Lafayette Street, Winnfield, who died in the Jackson Parish
Hospital January 13, 1970, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the East
Winnfield Baptist Church.

Rev. Curtis Rozelle and Rev. J. L. Holt will officiate.

Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

Surviving are three sons, A. D. and Wesley E. Luther of Winnfield, and T. L.
Luther of Jonesboro; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Allen, Georgetown, Mrs.
Laverne Shackelford, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Albert Dow, Winnfield, and Miss
Margie Luther, Pineville.

He also leaves one brother, Willie Bryant, Colfax; one sister, Mrs. Essie
O'Neal, Winnfield; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
