Lasyone, 56, of Baton Rouge, died Thursday, August 22, 1968. A former resident of Winnfield, Mr. Lasyone was a plumbing contractor with his father, the late R. J. Lasyone, until he moved to Baton Rouge approximately 15 years ago where he established the same business for himself. He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Cox officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Survivors are his widow (Juanita Crippen); two sons, Ronald Lasyone of Abilene, Tex., and Mark Lasyone of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Barnes of New York; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Eagles and Mrs. Lena Maxey, both of Dry Prong, Mrs. Irene Whatley of Picayune, Miss., Mrs. Boots Stowers of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Lucille Taylor of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Malone of Winnfield; and three grandchildren.
