Machen To Be Buried In Winnfield Friday Henry L. Machen, 71, a resident of 6359 Cating Street, New Orleans, died in that city at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The body will arrive at Hixon Funeral Home, Winnfield, Thursday night, and funeral services will be conducted at their chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery. A native of Winnfield, the deceased is the son of the late Judge Marion F. Machen and Anna McLean Machen, early prominent residents of Winn Parish. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Minnie Ford Machen, New Orleans; one daughter, Mrs. B. L. Keidrick, Spokane, Wash.; one son, Henry L. Machen, Jr., New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Hart, Monroe; Mrs. Roy Newsome and Mrs. Wesley Crump, Jr., both of Dallas; one brother, Tom Machen, of Bonham, Texas.
