Mrs. Ella Rudd Machen Dies In Texas

News was received here Monday of the death of Mrs. Ella Rudd Machen, which
occurred in Langster, Texas, early Monday morning.  Mrs. Machen was born in
Ward Eight, Winn Parish, and was the widow of the late James Machen.

In addition to two daughters and three sons in Texas, she leaves a host of
relatives in Winn Parish.
