All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: November 6, 1930 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Services For Mrs. Magee To Be Held Friday Dies In New Orleans Sanitarium After Long Illness And Operation Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Magee, 72 years of age, who died in a New Orleans sanitarium early Thursday morning after a long illnss and operation, will be conducted at the Winnfield Cemetery Friday afternoon. The Rev. C. C. Wier, pastor of the Methodist Church, will have charge of the services. Mrs. Magee was born in Florida in 1858 and was reared in the Winnfield Community, and has lived the greater part of her life in Winnfield. Before her marriage to J. S. Magee, now deceased, she was Miss Ella Teddlie, daughter of the late W. J. Teddlie and Martha Mathis Teddlie. She was a member of the Methodist Church. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethleen Riser of Winnfield, and Mrs. Josie Coates and Mrs. James Cravens of Los Angeles, Calif.; one half-brother, J. W. Teddlie of Winnfield, and one half-sister, Miss Cora Teddlie of Coushatta.
