Magee Dies In New Orleans Thursday Morning Funeral Services This Afternoon At Three Thirty O'clock From Train Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Teddlie Magee, age 72 years, who died Thursday morning in New Orleans will be held this afternoon at three o'clock conducted by the Rev. C. C. Weir of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Magee, who has been in failing health for two years or more was taken to New Orleans about three weeks ago for medical treatment. The body will arrive this afternoon over the L. & A. Railroad and taken from the train directly to the Winnfield Cemetery for interment. Mrs. Magee who before her marriage to the late J. C. Magee was Miss Ella Teddlie, was born in Florida and moved to Winn Parish when quite small. Her entire life has been spent in Winn Parish, part of the time near Montgomery, but most of the time in Winnfield. During her active years she was identified with all the community activities. She is the daughter of the late W. J. and Martha Mathis Teddlie, progenitors of one of the most influential and best known families of the state of Louisiana. Mrs. Magee is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethleen Riser of Winnfield, Mrs. Josie Coates and Mrs. James Cravens of Los Angeles, California, one sister, Mrs. Mary Jackson of Hargis, one half sister, Miss Cora Teddlie of Coushatta, one half brother, J. W. Teddlie of Winnfield.
