Andrew Maloy, 74, Succumbs; Rites Friday

Andrew Maloy, 74, of Winnfield died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 1975 in a
local hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Viola Smith Maloy; a son, Huey Maloy; a
daughter, Mrs. Willis Russell, all of Winnfield; a brother, Jay M. Maloy of
Fritch, Texas; a half-sister, Mrs. Deena Johnson of Calhoun; his step-mother,
Mrs. Leatha Maloy of Sikes; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Big Creek Baptist Church in Jordan Hill
with Rev. Glyn Griffin and Rev. Alson Jeter officiating.  Masonic graveside
rites were held in the church cemetery.  Southern Funeral Home was in charge
of services.

Pallbearers included Vernon Keen, C. M. Riley, Doyle Lasyone, Jimmie Mercer,
Chuck Maloy, and Gene Keen.
