LAST RITES FOR MRS. MARTHA MALONE HELD AT SANDERS

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Malone, 86, who died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. C.J. Jones, in Laurel Heights, Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m.
were held at the Sanders Cemetery at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Edgar Gunter and the
Rev. E.D. Roach in charge.

Mrs. Malone was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. C.J. Jones, Jesse Malone,
Elbert Malone and Carl Malone, Winnfield; Mrs. E.A. Martin, Goldonna; Mrs.
Pearl Sikes and Mrs. W.E. Golden, Monroe; and Mrs. Winnie Mae Causey of
Jonesboro.

She also leaves one brother, Richard Carlpenter of the Sanders community; and
one sister, Mrs. Laura Harris, of Monroe. Her husband, John M. (Mid) Malone
preceded her in death 35 years ago.
