She had been in ill health for some time. Funeral services were conducted at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel Sunday afternoon with Rev. J. B. Thompson and the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were E. J. Buchanan, Denton Shell, J. R. Madden, Jr., Howard Parham, V. C. Robbins, and W. H. Cameron. Mrs. Martin was a native of Arkansas but had spent most of her life in Winnfield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Berry and Mrs. A. F. Tracy, both of Winnfield; a son, L. H. Martin, Amite; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
