Joe P. Martin, 80, of Goldonna, died Sunday, October 11, 1970, in the Jackson
Parish Hospital after a _______ illness.

He was a native of Goldonna, a retired farmer, and a veteran of World War I.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Antioch Methodist Church
with the Rev. Grafton Shaw officiating, assisted by Rev. W. L. Fussell. 
Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery near Goldonna.

Survivors include his widow, of Goldonna; a son, Cortez Martin of Goldonna; a
brother, Bill Martin of Castor; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
