Sister In Law Of Mrs. W. P. Martin Dies In Minden

Funeral services were held Sunday in Minden for Mrs. May Shurtleff Martin, 72,
sister in law of Mrs. W. P. Martin of Winnfield.  Mrs. Martin died Friday
night at Minden after a lengthy illness.  She was the mother in law of
District Judge James E. Bolin.

Burial was in Garden of Memories in Minden.

Deceased had lived in Minden since 1922 and was a member of the First Baptist
Church.  She was a resident of Winnfield for a time before moving to Minden.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James E. Bolin; two sisters, Mrs. James C.
Biles of Minden and Mrs. Paralee Baker of Stamps, Ark.; and five
grandchildren.

Mrs. W. P. Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swilley of Winnfield attended the
funeral Sunday.
