Funeral Services For Mrs. Ophelia Nugent Held Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ophelia H. Nugent, 83, of Montgomery, were held
Sunday, August 12 in an Alexandria funeral home chapel, with interment in the
Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Nugent died at 6 a.m. on Friday, August 10, in an Alexandria hospital.

Surviving her are four sons, Monroe Nugent of Verda, Albert Nugent of
Montgomery, Julius Nugent of Pineville, and Lonnie Nugent of Chatham; four
daughters, Mrs. Eva Guilliams of Montgomery, Mrs. G. Hawkins of Alexandria,
Mrs. Leeman Juneau of Shreveport, and Mrs. Warren Fletcher of Montgomery; one
brother, Wilmer Martin of Delhi; two sisters, Mrs. Will Rice and Mrs. Fred
Daniels, both of Pineville; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
