Sherrie Martin, 2, Died From Burns; Buried In Alaska

Sherrie Martin, 2, daughter of S/Sgt. And Mrs. B. L. Martin of Fairbanks,
Alaska, succumbed April 2 from burns she had received on Good Friday when she
pulled a pot of boiling coffee from the stove at her home.  She developed
pneumonia.

Burial was made April 6 in Fairbanks with plans to return the remains to Winn
Parish when the parents return here.

Besides the parents, the child is survived by a sister, Charlotte; and her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Malone of Winnfield and Mr. and Mrs. L. V.
Martin of Ward 10.
