Funeral Rites For A. H. Martin Held Thursday

Funeral services for Alvin H. Martin, 79, of Winnfield were held at 4 p.m.
Thursday at the Couley Methodist Church with the Rev. J. C. Skinner and the
Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in the Double Church Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home here.

Mr. Martin died Wednesday, May 16, 1973, in a local hospital after a long
illness. He was a Winn Parish native, an accountant, a World War I veteran,
and member of the Couley Methodist Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
