Maseberg Held September 30 Last rites for Mrs. Ophelia Frances Maseberg, 64, beloved resident of the Wheeling-Mt. Zion Community, who died in an Alexandria hospital Saturday night, were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at the Union Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard Bond, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Johnny and Ollie Bishop, Henry, Jesse, and John Keiffer, and Frank Fredieu. Mrs. Maseberg was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, the home demonstration club, and was active in all community and parish civic affairs. She is survived by her husband, Ernest B. Maseberg; one daughter, Mrs. G. K. Phillips of Nederland, Texas; two brothers, James L. Chelette of Port Arthur, Texas, and Walter H. Chelette of Simi, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Smith and Mrs. Leland Lacy, both of Port Arthur, Texas; her mother, Mrs. J. W. Chelette of Port Arthur, and two grandchildren.
