The Comrade    August 19, 1910
  Byrdnie Elizabeth, the 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Matheson, 
died Wednesday afternoon, the immediate cause of its death being membraneus 
croup.  The remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery Thursday morning.  
Mr. Matheson was in California at the time of his child's death and it was 
impossible for him to return in time to attend the funeral.  The Comrade 
extends its sympathy to the bereaved parents in their hour of sorrow.
