Ione Mathis

Miss Ione Mathis, 74, of Montgomery, died Friday, December 9, 1977 at
residence after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Methodist Church in
Montgomery with the Rev. Dorothy McGowen officiating.

Burial was in Saline Cemetery near St. Maurice under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Miss Mathis was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the First Methodist
Church of Montgomery.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Audrey Elliott of Mooringsport; and several
nieces and nephews.
