Former Winn Resident Dies In Alexandria

Cleve Matthews, 85, died of an apparent heart attack March 1, at his home in
Laurel, Miss.

Mr. Matthews was married to the former Olavee Mercer of Winnfield who preceded
him in death in 1939., They resided in Winnfield for many years.

He is survived by his widow, one son, Aswell Matthews of Mobile, Ala., and two
grandchildren.
