C. A. Maxwell Dies; Rites Held At Hebert

Funeral services for C. A. Maxwell, 66, of Hebert, were held Monday at 10 a.m.
at the Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert with the Rev. Victor Matthews officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Maxwell died Saturday, August 25, 1973 at Caldwell Hospital in Columbia
after a long illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dot Howard of Hebert; two sons, Allen
Maxwell and Larry Maxwell, both of Hebert; two brothers, Lawrence Maxwell of
Monroe and Horace Maxwell, of Georgetown; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Bass of
Tullos; and two grandchildren.
