All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: September 28, 1944 Winn Parish Enterprise Last Rites For Dawson Maxwell Held Sept. 21 Dawson Maxwell, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Maxwell of the Beulah community, died at the home of his uncle, Clabe Maxwell, in Olla, Thursday, Sept. 21, after a lingering illness. He had been in ill health practically all his life. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Rev. C. R. McCartney in charge. He was assisted by Rev. Baird of Olla. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxwell, Beulah community; and three brothers, all of whom are overseas. The are Billy, stationed on Guam, Lyndal, in France, and Felton, on New Guinea. (Not buried at Mt. Zion, but Zion Cemetery, Beulah Community, Winn/Grant Parish line)
