C. Maxwell, Sr., Dies October 2, Winn Native

Clark Maxwell, Sr., 69, of Georgetown, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 1973
in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.  He was a retired butcher and a native of
Winn Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ernestine Miles Maxwell of Georgetown; two
sons, Johnny C. Maxwell, Jr. Of Tullos and Terry Maxwell of Georgetown; four
daughters, Mrs. Elresa Lincecum of Ball, Mrs.Janette Cline of Pollock, Mrs.
Maybeth Williamson and Mrs. Phyllis Saucier, both of Georgetown; two brothers,
T. R. Maxwell of Brookhaven, Miss., and Philip Maxwell of Georgetown; a
sister, Mrs. Pearl Collins of Goodpine; his stepmother, Mrs. Lena Maxwell of
Georgetown, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Georgetown Baptist Church. 
Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers.
