Ervin May, 69, Dies At Clarks; Rites Held

Funeral services for Ervin May, 69, of Clarks, were held at 11 a.m. Monday,
February 7, at Old Union Baptist Church at Clarks with the Rev. John Young
officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. May died Saturday, February 5, 1972 at his residence after a brief
illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois F. May of Clarks; two daughters, Mrs.
Audie Lee Peterson of Columbia and Mrs. Willie Grace Warren of New Orleans;
four sisters, Mrs. Ola Simmons of Bentonville, Ark., Mrs. Velma Neal of
Goldonna, Mrs. Eula O'Banion of West Monroe, and Mrs. Emma Lee Gorham of
Columbia; four brothers, Ed May, Garland May, and Archie May, all of Clarks,
and Herbert May of Grayson, and six grandchildren.
