Mildred Black Johnson

Funeral services were held June 27 for Mildred Black Johnson, 41, who died
unexpectedly in a Winnfield hospital June 22.

Rites were conducted in the Morning Star Baptist Church and burial was in
the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Johnson, a son, Johnny Johnson, Jr.,
her mother, Bessie Black Johnson; four brothers, John Black, Jr., David C.
Black, Joseph C. Black, and Carey E. Black, all of Los Angeles; a sister, Ruth
Turner, Los Angeles; an aunt, Gertrude Morgan, Winnfield; two uncles, Gillie
Morgan, Winnfield, and Ernest Morgan, Alexandria.
