Clair H. McCain, Retired Attorney of Colfax Dies

Clair Henry McCain, 65, retired Colfax attorney, died early Wednesday at his
home following a long illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elmeanie H. McCain, five sons, T. J., John
I., W. T., Joe, and Clair H. McCain, Jr., and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Rivout. 
His sisters are Mrs. Emily Lemee, New Orleans, Mrs. Joe Aguillard, Eunice, and
Mrs. Cora Roberts, Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, Wilmot McCain, Monroe,
also survives.

Funeral services for the veteran attorney were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at his
family home at Montgomery with the Rev. St. Patrick, pastor of Montgomery
Catholic Church, officiating.  Burial will be in the family cemetery.
