All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: February 7, 1935 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Ella McAnally Succumbs at The Home of Her Daughter Following Long Illness Mrs. Ella Garrison McAnally died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Parker Thompson, Thursday night following an illness of many weeks. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian Church Friday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. Alwin Stokes, in charge, assisted by the Rev. B. C. Land, pastor, First Baptist Church, and Rev. O. L. Tucker, pastor First Methodist Church. Surviving the deceased are three daughters, Miss Madge McAnally of New York City, Mrs. Gene Weil of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Parker Thompson of Winnfield; two stepchildren, Mrs. W. E. Patrick of McGhee, Ark., and Claude McAnally of Shreveport, and one sister, Mrs. C. A. Baldridge of Alexandria.
