Funeral Rites For Bryant McBride Held

Funeral services for Bryant McBride, 80, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the
chapel of ________________.  The Rev. C. C. Martin officiated.  Burial was in
Brown's Cemetery near Winnfield.

He was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish, a retired rural mail carrier, and a
member of the Baptist Church.  He died Wednesday, August 2, 1967.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carmen Anderson of Shreveport; five
sisters, Mrs. T. S. Greer, Mrs. Ira Downs, Mrs. Frank Mathis, and Mrs. Lela
Tyson, all of Montgomery, and Mrs. Nettie Carroll of Baytown, Texas; and
one granddaughter, Mrs. John E. Shaw of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers were G. W. Jones, Hubert Howard, Robert Heard, Wade Moore, James
"Buster" McManus, and Howard Tarver.
