Mrs. McBride, 89, Montgomery, Dies Sunday, Feb. 3

Funeral services were conducted at the Sardis Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Monday,
Feb. 4, 1952, for Mrs. Sabrie Ann McBride, 89, of Montgomery, who died at her
residence on February 3.

Interment was in the Brown Cemetery near the church under direction of
Southern Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were E. S. Greer, Owen McBride Norris Edward, Jim Edward, Purcell
McBride, and Willard Tyson.

Survivors include two sons, R. L. McBride of Montgomery and B. W. McBride of
Winnfield; five sisters, Mrs. Lela Tyson of Dry Prong, Mrs. Nettie Carroll of
Baytown, Texas, and Mrs. Maud Mathis, Mrs. Ceola Downs, and Mrs. Ida Mae
Greer, all of Montgomery; one brother, Oliver Moore of Baton Rouge; 28
grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
