Funeral Services Scheduled For Former Winn Man

Bud McFarland, Winn native who died in a veterans hospital in West Los
Angeles, California, will be buried in Zion Hill Cemetery this week.

Time of the funeral was not announced.

Mr. McFarland was a veteran of World War One, and resided in Hermosa Beach,
California.  His body will arrive in Winnfield Thursday and will lie in state
until the funeral.

Survivors include two brothers, Jack McFarland of Tannehill and Ed McFarland
of Winnfield; four sisters, Mrs. F. D. Caraway of Winnfield, Mrs. G. H.
Parrish of Winnfield, Mrs. Jim Box of Goldonna, and Mrs. Elba Wheeler of
Mobile, Ala.
