Olen Guy McCain

Services for Olen Guy McCain, Sr., were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Verda
Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Richards, Richard DeBusk, and Frank
Shields officiating.  Burial was in Verda Cemetery under direction of
Southern, Winnfield.

McCain, 69, of Verda died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 8, 1985 in Humana
Hospital-Winn Parish, Winnfield.  Survivors include his wife, Mary G. McCain,
of Verda; two sons, Olen McCain, Jr., and Richard McCain, both of Jonesboro;
three daughters, Ruth Turner of Dry Prong, Diane Smith of Ruston and Jennie
Bass of Verda; one brother, Morrell McCain of Natchitoches; one sister, Violet
Harold of Bossier City, and 11 grandchildren.
