Final Rites For Mrs. Wiston A. McCarty Sept. 30


Funeral services for Mrs. Wiston A. McCarty, 53, of Beech Creek, who died
Saturday morning from a heart attack in a Urania hospital, were held Sunday at
Beech Creek Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. E. B. Barton, officiating.

Burial was in the Beech Creek Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. McCarty was before her marriage Miss Minnie
Hale.

Pallbearers were nephews, Edward, Phillip, and Howard Ellis McCarty, Huey
Hale, Kenneth Raynes, and H. F. Allbritton.

Survivors are her husband, Wiston A. McCarty, Beech Creek; two sons, Aubrey
of Beech Creek; Arlos of Natchez, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. L. M. Taylor,
Bossier City; three grandchildren; one brother, W. W. Hale, Houston, Texas;
two sisters, Mrs. R. D. Irby, Natchitoches, and Mrs. L. M. Thiels, Alexandria;
and 10 half brothers and sisters.
