H. W. McCarty, Native of Winn, Claimed By Death

Harvey W. McCarty, 56, native of Winn, died in Shreveport on March 10,
following a heart attack while at work. He was an employee of Louisiana Paper
Co., and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport.

Mr. McCarty is survived by his widow; a son, Robert H. McCarty, U. S. Air
Force, Greenland; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Veen, of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs.
Emma McCarty of Winnfield; one brother, Horace McCarty, Shreveport; two
sisters, Mrs. O. N. Simmons and Mrs. C. C. Lawrence, both of Winnfield, and
one grandson.
