Colored Deaths

Lula J. McCarty

Funeral services for Lula J. McCArty, 72, colored, who died at her home in
Sikes, December 22, were held December 27 at Mt. Hebron Church with burial in
Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Rev. J. P. Gipson officiated.

A lifelong resident of Sikes she was a member of the Lone Pine Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Isaac McCarty, Sikes; two sons, Laster of Sikes and
Chester of Houston, Texas.
