Mary McCaskle Succumbs At Sikes Monday

Mrs. Mary McCaskle, age 47 years, died at her home in Sikes on Monday, August
25, at 2 a.m.  Funeral services were held August 25 at 3 p.m. at Sikes with
Mrs. D. J. Vascoe in charge.  Interment was in the Sikes Cemetery.

Mrs. McCaskle was born in 1894 at Sikes.  She was a member of the Union Grove
Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bill Addington, Shreveport; Jessie Lee
Philley, Sikes; and Stella McCaskle, Sikes; two sons, R. M. McCaskle, Ft.
Knox, Ky., and G. W. McCaskle, Sikes; her mother, Mrs. Edna Gentry, four
brothers, John Gentry, Lonnie Gentry, Sikes; Webb Gentry, Chatham; Grady
Gentry, New York; one sister, Mrs. George Lawrence, Monroe, and two grandsons.
