Death Claims Henry McCarty of Ward Three

Henry McCarty, 45, of Ward 3, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Violet
Shows, in Springhill, La., Wednesday, March 12, at 6 a.m.  He had suffered a
stroke of paralysis some time ago.

Funeral services were held at Sharon Church in Ward Three with interment in
the Thompson Cemetery at 11 a.m.

Mr. McCarty is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Shows; two brothers, Wiley
McCarty of Ft. Necessity and George McCarty of Sikes; and two sisters, Mrs.
Nancy Underwood of Sikes and Mrs. Rosa Lee Willis of Shreveport.
