Funeral Services For Holly McDade Were Held On Friday


Funeral services for Holly McDade, age 38 years, who died in the Base
Hospital, Alexandria, Friday, July 31, were held at the Winnfield Cemetery,
Saturday, August 1, at 4 p.m.  The Rev. Alwin Stokes, and the Rev. A. H.
Cullen had charge of the services.  Members of Everett S. Fick Post Number
Nine, of which the deceased was a member, acted as pallbearers.

Mr. McDade had been in ill health for over a year.

He is survived by his widow, one son, Holly, Jr., age 7, and a daughter, Sara
Elizabeth, age 3, one sister, Mrs. S. J. Taylor, his mother, Mrs. McDade, and
one brother, Heck McDade, all of Winnfield.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hall and
family, Alexandria; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Anderson, Mrs. Russell Porter, Barbara
Porter, and J. R. Hall of Monroe.
