Walter McDavid Dies In Urania Tuesday

Walter S. McDavid, 73, was buried in James Cemetery near Sikes Tuesday,
October 28, following his death in Urania Sunday.

Mr. McDavid was a native of Mississippi, where he was born January 9, 1879. 
He was a member of the Beech Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Burniss Dyess of Olla, with
burial under direction of Southern Funeral Home.  

Survivors are one son, Charlie of Baton Rouge, two daughters, Mrs. Clemmie
Meredith of Olla, Mrs. Eva McBroom of Urania, two brothers, Zeke of Gorhamtown
and Will of Bentley, and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
