Hershel W. McDaniel

Services for Hershel W. McDaniel were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel
of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating.  Burial was in Summerfield
Cemetery, Verda.

McDaniel, 70, of Montgomery, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 1984 in
Veterans Administration Medical Center, Pineville.

Survivors include two sons, Roger McDaniel of Lafayette and Hershel McDaniel,
Jr., of Boute; three daughters, Sharon Parker of Vinton, Dianne Stebbins of
Lafayette, and Patricia Gros of South Carolina; and his mother, Mrs. Randy T.
Williams of St. Cloud, Florida.
