Funeral Services For H. C. McDade Held Sat. P. M.

Funeral rites for H. C. McDade, who died in the Veterans' Hospital at
Alexandria last Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, were held at the Winnfield
Cemetery Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Mr. McDade's death was not unexpected.  He had been in the hospital several
months suffering from tuberculosis.  The body was brought to Winnfield on the
L. and A. Saturday and carried from the station to the cemetery where Rev.
Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor
of the First Baptist Church, assisted in the services.

Mr. McDade is survived by his wife, Mrs. H. C. McDade, his mother, Mrs. M. E. 
McDade, one sister, Mrs. S. J. Taylor, and one brother, H. D. McDade.
