C. McDade Dies Friday After Long Illness, Fall Following an illness of several years made more serious by a recent fall, Mrs. Margaret Cherry McDade, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Taylor, here last Friday. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Taylor home, conducted by the Rev. H. H. McBride, pastor of the First Baptist Church, who was assisted by two other local pastors, the Rev. Alwin Stokes and the Rev. G. A. Morgan. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were members of the American Legion. Mrs. McDade was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving here are one daughter, Mrs. Taylor of Winnfield, two brothers, A. B. Cherry of San Marcus, Calif., and John Cherry of Coolidge, Ariz., and seven grandchildren, Morris, Clyde, and Othel Taylor of Winnfield, Willie Rogers of Houston, Texas, Mrs. B. F. Allison, Taylor, Texas, and Holly, Jr., and Beth McDade of Winnfield.
