Bud McFarland, 58, Died in California Saturday, August 11

Last rites for Bud McFarland, who died Saturday in a West Los Angeles,
California hospital, will be held at the Zion Hill at the Zion Hill Baptist
Church soon, under the direction of the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

The body will arrive at the Hixson Funeral Home soon, where it will remain
until burial.

Mr. McFarland, who was born at Tannehill, had been a resident of Hermosa
Beach, California, for several years and was 58 years of age.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. F. B. Caraway and Mrs. J. H. Parrish of
Winnfield; Mrs. Jim Box of Goldonna, and Mrs. Elva Wheeler of Mobile, Alabama;
and two brothers, Jack McFarland of Tannehill and Ed McFarland of Winnfield.
