Last Rites For Mrs. J. McFarland Held Wednesday

Mrs. Rosie McFarland, wife of Mr. Jack McFarland of Tannehill, died at Charity
Hospital in Shreveport Tuesday, September 11.  Funeral services were conducted
by Rev. B. C. Land Wednesday evening at 4:00 at the Zion Hill Church.

She was 33 years old at the time of her death and is survived by eight
children: G. T., Margie, Wardell, W. L., Bobbie Joe, Lorane, and Lester, her
husband, four sisters, and three brothers.

She was born in Calvin and her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Coonce are
still living in that vicinity.
