E. W. McGinty, 87, Succumbs; Rites At Mt. Zion

Funeral services for Edward William McGinty, 87, of Montgomery, were held at 2
p.m. Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church near Atlanta.

The Rev. L. E. Milem officiated with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. McGinty died Saturday, January 26, 1974 at Winnfield General Hospital
after a long illness.

He was a farmer and a native of Grant Parish.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lee W. McGinty of Montgomery; two sons,
Willard McGinty and Mack McGinty, both of Montgomery; his granddaughter, Miss
Patty S. McGinty of Montgomery.
