R. B. McGinty, Former Wheeling Resident, Dies In Shreveport

Funeral services for R. B. McGinty, 88, who died Monday afternoon at his
residence in Shreveport were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery, near
Montgomery, La.  Mrs. Felix Wardlow of the Methodist Church of Montgomery,
officiated.

The deceased was a former resident of Wheeling Community where he reared his
family.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Winnfield.

Surviving are the widow and five sons, R. L., R. H., E. P., G. B., and E. W.
McGinty, of Montgomery, La., and one sister, Mrs. Sam Hurley of Mansfield.

Attending the funeral services from Winnfield were Mrs. Frank Shaw and Mrs.
H. U. McGinty.
