A. B. McGuffee, Father, Brother of Local People, Dies

Albert B. McGuffee, 86, passed away in a Jonesville hospital Thursday, Dec.
21.  He was the father of Mrs. Owen Anders and the brother of E. L. McGuffee,
both of Winnfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. December 23 at the Aimwell Baptist
Church with burial in the Spring Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. McGuffee is survived by his wife, who will now make her home in Winnfield
with her daughter, Mrs. Owen Anders; two daughters, Mrs. Anders of Winnfield
and Mrs. Burton A. Miley of Springdale, Ark.; two sons, E. V. of Enterprise,
La., and J. Y. of Harrisonburg, La.; two brothers, E. L. McGuffee of
Winnfield, and B. I. McGuffee of West Monroe; and a host of grandchildren,
relatives, and friends.
