Mrs. V. McGuffey Is Buried Thurs. At Jerusalem

Mrs. Viola McGuffee, 46, died in a Shreveport hospital Wednesday after a brief
illness.  Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. E. J. Dickerson in
Winnfield Thursday afternoon, and interment was made in the Jerusalem Cemetery
at 3 o'clock.  Rev. Alwin Stokes was in charge of the services.  Burial was
under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Mrs. McGuffee has resided with the E. J. Dickerson family for the past 12
years.  She was formerly from the Beech Creek settlement near Winnfield.  She
has no living relatives.
