Grandson of Mrs. J. A. McMurry Buried Thursday

Homer McMurry, Jr., 10, a victim of leukemia, is scheduled to be buried at 10
a.m. today at Rocky Branch Cemetery near Farmerville in Union Parish.  He died
Wednesday at 2 a.m.

The youth is the son of Capt. and Mrs. H. A. McMurry, Sr., of Monroe.  Capt.
McMurry is a member of the Monroe Police force.  Members of the force are to
act as pallbearers.

Young McMurry is survived by his parents, two sisters, Mrs. Uchla Smith and
Miss Yvonne McMurry; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Howard of
Farmerville; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. J. A. McMurry of Winnfield; and
several aunts and uncles.
